Members and Guests…

It is an honor to serve as President of STASL for the next two years. On behalf of all STASL members and guests, I’d like to thank Paul Roettger for his leadership as President. We won’t let Paul go too far, though, as he will join the Board of Directors for 2012-2013. Chris Boschert is stepping down from the STASL board this year and we thank Chris for his dedication and service to the organization. In addition to our returning officers and board members (Nick Otte, Steve Menendez, John Fechter and Bart Green), we have three new additions to leadership this year with Adrian Brown (Edward Jones) serving as Treasurer, Robin Budd (Wells Fargo) as Secretary and John Fischer (Stifel) joining the board.

We have much to be proud of and much to offer the industry and community. As a group, we bridge multiple trading disciplines and serve a diverse base of clients. During a challenging business environment, STASL has grown to over 225 members. Sponsorship and attendance at our semi-annual events has been extraordinary. Donations to local charities have continued to increase during a time when the need has never been greater. Scholarship funding for local students has remained a priority. This success was made possible by the generous support of our sponsors and local member firms. Thank you!

I’m proud to lead a talented group of professionals and I look forward to catching up at our events in December and June.
